Wynwood Art District Walk (Self Guided), Miami

Wynwood is a wonderful place to come to explore art in all its myriad shapes, colors and forms. From exciting street art to landscape paintings and modern art, there is much to see and get excited about. There are more than 70 galleries, museums and collections as well as a lot of street art.

Look up and admire the Wynwood Walls, a colossal set of outdoor murals that feature the work of some of the art form's biggest names, including Shepard Fairey. Some people even refer to Wynwood as an outdoor street art museum. Miami fondly embraces the art world every single day, but never more so than when Art Basel is in town. During this art festival, leading galleries from around the world show off modern art pieces from established superstars of the genre and newly emerging talents.

Whatever your taste in modern and contemporary art, you are bound to find it sated among the work of the bold, the experimental and the well-known superstars who show off their work here. There are paintings, sculptures, photographs, video, site-specific experiential work and much more. This trendy arts hub is a popular neighborhood and its streets are often lively.
