Nola! by hilarystyle, New Orleans, Louisiana
In my top three is New Orleans, Louisiana! There is something so special about New Orleans and I always feel so at home there. I think it’s the most unique city in America. Just wandering the streets and enjoying the atmosphere is a perfect day. Another favorite pastime besides traveling is fitness and the truth is that it was after our trip four and a half years ago that I really started getting into fitness! I had to work off all those beignets!!
Which leads me to my very first stop each and every visit and that is my favorite favorite favorite place to go in NOLA and that’s Cafe Du Monde! It’s an institution and NO trip to NOLA is complete without a trip there! It is right near the St. Louis Cathedral and there is NO substitution!
Oh and by the way, The Cathedral is the oldest catholic cathedral In America. There are many great places to explore in New Orleans, The French Quarter, The Warehouse District, Magazine Street (six miles of shopping!), and the Garden District to name just a few.
