Denmark: Seeing Copenhagen in 96 Hours, Copenhagen, Denmark
We visited Copenhagen for four days in the summer of 2014 and it was one of my most splendid experiences. So much to see and do. Options are limitless. When I think of Copenhagen my minds says The Little Mermaid, the cold, Peter Schmeichel and Carlsberg – even though I never ever drink beer. One of the most fascinating, enjoyable ways to see is this old city is from a boat sailing down its canals. It is absolutely stunning.
We genuinely enjoyed the boat tour. Danish weather is both crazy and fantastic so you may want to take a sweater or light jacket with you – even in the summer months.
The city of Copenhagen is easily accessible on foot. We however, decided to take advantage of the Hop On Hop Off buses to ensure that we would see as many sights as possible. Comparing cities in Europe, Copenhagen is slightly “expensive”. We read everywhere that “Since the turn of the 21st century, Copenhagen has seen strong urban and cultural development.” – I find this to be very true. ......
