The Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville is a renowned destination that offers a luxurious and captivating experience for visitors. Originally opened on November 24, 1977, the resort was built to support the nearby Grand Ole Opry, an iconic Nashville country-music institution.

Over the years, the Gaylord Opryland Resort has undergone several expansions and enhancements, transforming it into a world-class destination. The original hotel boasted 580 guest rooms and a magnificent ballroom. In 1988, another expansion took place. The highlight of this expansion was the creation of the Cascades Atrium, featuring a breathtaking 3.5-story waterfall and over 8,000 tropical plants. One of the most distinctive features of the Gaylord Opryland Resort is the Cajun-themed Delta Atrium. This atrium houses a quarter-mile-long indoor river, which guests can explore on flatboats. The Delta Atrium's captivating atmosphere, along with the enchanting Delta Fountain Shows, which run every evening between 6 pm and 9 pm, captivate visitors with their stunning displays of water and music.
